Puzzling Visit

While June has continued with her nightly housekeeping visits, the only daytime visitors have been small birds scavenging the floor for nesting material.  After a couple of minutes of housekeeping during last night's visit, June repeated a very strange sound (65KB)  that appeared to be a variation of  the noises she normally makes while laying an egg. This went on for more than five minutes before she flew away without producing an egg. I'm hoping for more activity soon, but am concerned that I've not heard anything from Ward for more than a week. It is quite possible that the very unusual weather has them confused. We experienced the warmest winter on record, which is being followed by a bitterly cold early spring.
