Ever wish you had a security camera in your car after a crash or break-in?

Owl Inc., a Palo Alto startup headed by a former member of the Apple team that designed the first iPods and iPhones, may have what you are looking for.

The camera designed by Andy Hodge and the folks at Owl records what happens inside and outside a vehicle, capturing 24 hours of video at a time using a cellular LTE connection.

Users can then save important clips captured regarding anything from a police traffic stop to an accident or a simple parking lot ding. It can also be used for more frivolous reasons like capturing outbreaks of carpool karaoke.
